The handmade embroidered postcard book was made by Adeline Mary Warner as a child. One of the postcards is from her older brother, Gordon Warner, while serving as a soldier in France during World War I, the others are from family members and friends

Adeline Mary Warner was born in 1910 on a cattle property at Minerva Hills near Springsure, Queensland. Her parents were Sidney Albert Warner and Francis Shenton.
