Scope and content

Photographs and postcards of the Dawson family in England and Australia. Most of the postcards were written by Private William Currier Dawson, service no 18310, to his wife and children during and after the First World War. Others were written by his father William, who lived in Rotherham, and wrote to William Currier while he served in France.
