Scope and content
3 open reel audiotapes containing a set of six programmes broadcast by ABC Radio in 1967. The audiotapes were presented to the Queensland Jazz Archive on 21 May 2017 by Geoff Ovenden. The audio was recorded at the ABC Studios, Elizabeth St (Old Theatre Royal), Brisbane, 1967. Bruce Short was the announcer for these "live jazz from Brisbane" programs which were presented by the Queensland Jazz Arts Society. The audiotapes are 3.5 in., 1/4 in. with half-track mono (sides 1 & 2) on each tape, speed 33/4 IPS.
