Scope and content

The collection contains concert hall and studio recordings by Queensland Conservatorium Chorale; Queensland Conservatorium Brass Ensemble; Brisbane Chorale and the Bach Society choir; diaries of the late Brisbane music critic Frederick Rogers, a prolific music reviewer in the Telegraph and the Sunday Mail for about thirty years until his death in the early 1980s; manuscript of a score by Larry Sitsky entitled "Dimensions" (for piano & 2 tape recorders), with explanatory notes; manuscript of a piece entitled "Terzetto" for trumpet, horn and pianoforte by William Lovelock. Full score and piano score included, also a letter from Brian Buggy to Professor Scott Harrison giving background information regarding the piece; a 1958 photograph of the Musica da Camera Quartet 1954-58; a copied portfolio of ephemera and reviews relating to high profile Queensland pianist and teacher Nancy Weir.
