Abstract
Documents and photographs belonging to Frederick William Lancaster, who served with the 2nd Light Horse Regiment during the First World War.
Scope and content

Collection includes: 1. Small photograph album showing members of the 2nd Light Horse Regiment in the Middle East. Also includes Victory Celebrations and family photographs. 2. Collection of family photographs of the Bone and Lancaster families including photographs of John Bone and Frederick William Lancaster in their military uniforms. Also includes photographs of the daily life of the Lancaster family on the Busy Bee orchard in Amiens, Queensland. 3. Two soldier's pay books, a Queensland Government Savings Bank pass book belonging to Frederick William Lancaster, a church programme for the 2/14th Queensland Mounted Infantry Ceremonial Parade 20 August, 1972. 4. One brochure named 'Stanthorpe - Queensland Eden' about the history of Stanthorpe focusing mainly on the fruit industry and a flyer for Busy Bee Orchard operated by Lancaster and Son at Amiens, Queensland.
