This film contains a compilation of short black and white home movies.  Some of the movies have titles, other scenes are untitled.

• ‘Meet the family’ shows footage of family members gathering in front of a car. 
• ‘At Lone Pine’ shows family members outdoors and children taking horse rides.
• Footage of a group of women outside Cambridge House Boarding Establishment at Woody Point then a toddler walking around a yard. 
• ‘Rough doings at Café de Scrap Up’ is a short comedy skit. 
• Scenes of a passenger ferry arriving at Redcliffe, women outside Cambridge House Boarding Establishment, Woody Point, a man outside a stucco house, a tennis match, children, a tennis match, a child playing, a woman by a car and three women strolling across a bridge. 
• ‘Back to Wynnum Carnival & QLD 10 Ft. Sailing Championship’ shows carnival scenes including camel rides, a merry-go-round, sand sculpting, a marching band and large crowds, as well as sailing scenes.

This film contains pre-war footage of Brisbane and the Gold Coast.  The film has a number of intertitles and other scenes which are untitled.

• Brisbane scenes including aerial views of ANZAC Square, Town Hall and the city; views (some aerial) of the Story Bridge near completion.
• 'As we tour the city we arrive in time' shows footage of the Brisbane Town Hall clock tower
• 'To view the parade of the Camerons' shows footage of a parade past the Old Windmill Observatory (The Tower Mill).  The parade probably involves the Queensland Cameron Highlanders (61st Infantry Battalion).
• 'Evening in the city' shows footage of shop windows and neon signs.
• 'Brisbane's flowers have much to offer the visitor' shows footage of trees in flower in Brisbane streets, including poinsettia and frangipanis.
•  'Australia’s top surfmen on parade' shows footage of a surf carnival on a Gold Coast beach.
• footage of a rusty shipwreck, possibly on a Gold Coast beach.
• 'Toilers of the Sea' shows fisherman hauling in nets containing a large catch of fish on a Gold Coast beach.

This film contains a film of a road trip to the Darling Downs with intertitles.

• 'At Grantham we purchased...' shows footage of purchasing oranges from a roadside stall at Grantham.
• 'Helidon spa water' shows footage of tasting the spa water at Helidon.
• 'Toowoomba' mainly shows footage of flower gardens in bloom.
• 'Picnic Point' shows footage of people taking in the view at Picnic Point.
• various scenes including fields of grain; a steam train; loading hay into a truck by hand; the George Essex Evans monument, Toowoomba; and Ma Ma Creek Village.
• 'Roadside cave Heifer Ck.' shows footage of people exploring a roadside cave at Heifer Creek.

• 'Cotton picking' shows footage of people in a cotton field picking cotton.

• footage of a bull dozer mining sand on the beach into trucks.
• 'Optimism', 'One hour later' and 'The other way' shows footage related to a fishing trip.
• 'From Point Danger' and 'Tweed River discharge' show views from Point Danger and of the Tweed Bar respectively.
• 'For repair at Narrow Neck' shows a crane helping to repair Narrow Neck.
• 'Spring sunshine paints the scene' shows views of the ocean.
• 'At Upper Tallebudgera Creek' shows footage of people at Upper Tallebudgera Creek.

A film that appears to continue on from ‘Our holidays at Burleigh’. Description on the cannister reads ‘Nancy & J. Hutch at Tallebudgera’.  The film contains footage of:

• Tallebudgera.
• a wrecker’s yard full of car wrecks.
• vintage cars being prepared and rolled out for an event.
• a truck accident on a narrow road.
• swimming and water activities on a river.
• a group with towels at the beach.
• crowds at Currumbin Bird Sanctuary.

A reel containing two untitled films.

The first film contains footage of an outing organised for disadvantaged children.  It was produced and photographed by members of the Queensland Amateur Cine Society.  A preamble states ‘The children who play the main roles in this film are some of the less fortunate of our community.  From seventeen Institutions taking part in this outing, are crippled boys and girls from the Montrose Home… orphans from the Queen Alexandra and Nudgee Homes… and sick children from our metropolitan hospitals’.  The film contains footage of:

• planning the outing.
• a parade of cars carrying the children.
• children being pushed along on an inflatable dinghy in the water.
• children going on horse rides at the beach.
• performers entertaining a crowd.
• speeches by dignitaries.
• puppet show by Deveres Puppets.
• preparing refreshments.

The second untitled film shows footage of a visit to a farm.  The film contains footage of:

• homestead and gardens.
• McCormick-Deering Farmall tractor ploughing a field.
• draught horses towing a plough.
• corn crop.
• picking pumpkins.
• eating watermelon.
• horse rides.
• cows.
• feeding watermelons to pigs.

The footage shows the L.J. Hooker auction of the residence ‘Saxmundham’, home of a Mrs Thurlow. Included are scenes of the auction and interior and exterior views of the property.

• a RACQ Children’s Day carnival, held as a part of RACQ’s golden jubilee celebrations (1905-1955), including footage of vintage cars, a flyover, canoeing and crowds.
• a golfing tournament.

The film tells the story of a young girl writing a letter to Santa asking for a pram and doll for Christmas and that wish being granted.  This is followed by the young girl playing with the new presents (eg. having a tea party).

The film was produced by Arthur E. Jenks, script by Edna C. Jenks and narrated by Russ Tyson.  Sound was removed from the digital copy of this film due to poor quality.

Film of the royal visit of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, to Brisbane.  This visit was significant is in that it was the first time a reigning monarch set foot in the state of Queensland.  The footage includes large crowds lining Queen Street, a military march past and the royal motorcade.

Film with intertitles showing nature scenes in south east Queensland. The film uses micro, telephoto and time-lapse photography.  This film was created by E. Pass.  Footage shows a variety of:

• birds such as blue cranes, parrots in banksia trees, a boy feeding parrots, kookaburras, butcher birds, pelicans on water, ducks on a lagoon and black swans on water.
• insects such as a caterpillar eating a leaf, ants, a grasshopper, toad, stick insect, spider and hornet.

A film with intertitles showing natural scenery and outdoor events in south east Queensland.  This film was created by E. Pass.

• 'Firstly, the children' shows two young girls having a 'tea party' and sitting in a toy car.
•  'Nature's artistic touch' shows various flowering trees.
• 'The productive earth' shows crops including corn, pineapples, bananas as well as a man harvesting pineapples and a pawpaw tree.
• 'Lest we forget - our animal & feathered friends' shows cows, horses, pigs, as well as a dog begging for food and parrots.
• 'The charm of the restless sea' shows men fishing as waves crash against the rocks directly beneath them. 
• 'The beaches. Nature's playground' shows a surf carnival with a Scottish marching band and boat races as well as net fishing on a beach.
• 'The streams & waterways' shows a stream, a waterfall and a river.
• 'And even at the close of the day - Nature's beauty sill holds sway" shows a sunset.

User comment: The rink shown in this film was possibly in Bracken Street, Moorooka. The Brisbane Dance and Roller Figure Club trained and gave occasional performances at their ‘rink’ which was a large concrete slab, previously the floor of a temporary wartime igloo. There was also a person named ‘Hawker’ associated with the club and performers were known to wear pale blue costumes. (Sources provided include 'Brisbane History West' website and South Coast bulletin, November 12, 1952, p. 5 (via Trove))
