Abstract
Six digital manuscripts of Trent Dalton's award winning debut novel, Boy Swallows Universe. The collection comprises an original unpublished manuscript, publisher' structural notes, revised versions with editor's notes, a marked up proof and the final proof. The semi-autobiographical novel Boy Swallows Universe tells the coming of age story of Eli Bell in the outer suburbs of Brisbane in the 1980s.

Trent Dalton is a Queensland journalist and author. He is a staff writer for The Weekend Australian Magazine and a former assistant editor of The Courier-Mail. Trent is a two-time winner of a Walkley Award for Excellence in Journalism, a three-time winner of a Kennedy Award for Excellence in NSW Journalism and a four-time winner of the national News Awards Features Journalist of the Year.
