This item is a photocopy of the original album held as Item 239 of this collection. Some pages of the photocopy included hand written annotations.
The original large photograph album contains photographs of the residents and missionaries who lived on the missions, as well as general views of the mission stations. Localities include Aurukun, Weipa, Mapoon, Mornington Island and Thursday Island, Other images include the various boats which served the missions; photographs of twin babies, Winnie and Stanley, who were born at Weipa in May 1936; and Rosie Woodley's house at Mapoon.
The images are believed to have been mostly taken by Norman F. Nelson on his 1936 visit, along with J. T. Robinson, to north Queensland mission stations administered by the Presbyterian Church. The records of his visit are held by the Fryer Library, University of Queensland, Collection UQFL57, Record of visit to mission stations.

Cape York missions (1930-1940)
A large photograph album with 'Photographic records, Volume 3' in gold lettering on the spine and front cover. The album contains photographs of the residents and missionaries who lived on the missions, as well as general views of the mission stations. Localities include Aurukun, Weipa, Mapoon, Mornington Island and Thursday Island, Other images include the various boats which served the missions; photographs of twin babies, Winnie and Stanley, who were born at Weipa in May 1936; and Rosie Woodley's house at Mapoon.
The images are believed to have been mostly taken by Norman F. Nelson on his 1936 visit, along with J. T. Robinson, to north Queensland mission stations administered by the Presbyterian Church. The records of his visit are held by the Fryer Library, University of Queensland, Collection UQFL57, Record of visit to mission stations.
Item 7 in this collection is a photocopy of this album which includes some hand written annotations.

Illuminated address presented to Reverend Alexander Duff (1885-1973) in recognition of his 25 years' service as the minister of St. John's Presbyterian Church in Annerley, Brisbane, 26 October 1945.
The original church on the site at Annerley was opened in 1886. This church served the congregation until after the First World War. Reverend Duff, the minister of St. John's, was instrumental in raising funds for the erection of a new church, which was completed in 1929. The old church was reused as a parish hall. Both buildings remain in use on the site.
