Scope and content
This collection consists of a photograph album, colour slides, correspondence, and papers relating to the life and military service of Maurice Fox, QX6457 and his wife Patricia. Maurice who served with the 2/26th Infantry Battalion, was captured during the fall of Singapore in February 1942, and remained a prisoner of the Japanese, in both Changi Prison, and on the Burma Thailand Railway until his release in August 1945.
