Abstract
A series of interview-based podcasts, selected from a series published online by journalist Nance Haxton. The podcasts are designed to inform audiences about a range of significant Queensland-related experiences, most of which don’t have a profile in the mainstream media. The interviews take the form of personal accounts and are typically connected with a particular location. The majority of the interviews in this series relate to circumstances of social or cultural disadvantage.
Scope and content

A number of the interviews feature fellow journalists including Matthew Condon, Trent Dalton, Mark Willacy, Dominique Schwartz, Peter Greste, Hedley Thomas and Isabella Higgins. There are several interviews highlighting Australian Aboriginal people, Australian South Sea Islander history, artists and musicians, and people living in regional Queensland.
