The film then shows in colour:

• shots of cars racing on unsealed/country roads

The film then changes to black and white and shows:

• cars on country roads,
• crowd watching a motor race,
• racing cars being serviced, tyres changed, engines being checked,

• cars of the day parked in a paddock.

Film of a picnic celebrating the Williams family reunion. The family reunion and picnic was held in the grounds of the Moore State School on 6 September 1981.

• an old fashioned, horse-drawn Ambulance and the modern motorised version.

The film starts with a still showing the Schedule of Prizes and Programme July 1958 for the Redcliffe Show (ie the 9th Annual show).

Film opens with a still shot of the official programme announcing "The Second Lakeside International Gold Star Motor Race Meeting 15-17 February".  The film then shows in colour:

• motor racing scenes,
• crowds waiting for the race to begin,
• people sitting under make-shift tents
• motor racing continues.

Film labelled "Houghton Highway construction May-December 1979".

The film opens with a voiceover/commentary as workers are being ferried out to the construction site of the new bridge to Redcliffe in WWII DUKWs affectionately known as 'Ducks'.  Commentary states that the construction is in the early days but is expected to be completed on time for opening in January 1980.

Most of the film shows the construction of the new bridge and scenes of Redcliffe, including beach scenes, cars driving the streets.

The last section of the film shows school children in Marching Band uniforms, marching down the main street, probably in a school marching band competition.
