Womabt Down Below (2003)
Four small watercolour panels, each 100 x 90 mm, showing the habitats of four predators who prey on Northern Hairy-Nosed wombat joeys in Epping Forest National Park. The first two panels show the area around the entrance to a wombat tunnel during the day. The first panel shows a Black-headed python on the sand near the entrance to a wombat tunnel, and a Striated Pardalote bird flying above the python. In the second panel, a Wedge-tailed eagle is launching into flight from the bank above the wombat tunnel entrance.
The tunnel entrance is set into a low bank of pink sand, with grasses growing from the top of the bank. The third and fourth panels show the park at sunset and at night. A feral cat is seen creeping through the grass from the fourth panel into the third. A tree emerges from the bottom left of the third panel and branches into the fourth panel - a Barn Owl sits on the branch in front of a starry night sky and full moon. Inscription upper left verso "Lucy Everitt 2003".

Hairy nose wombat (2003)
Watercolour depicting Big Foot, a Northern Hairy-nosed wombat, in the landscape of Epping Forest National Park. The wombat is shown at the bottom of the image toward the left, and is facing the camera head on. The wombat appears to be eating some of the native grasses from the surrounding landscape - these grasses are the primary diet of the animal. Behind the wombat, and slightly to the left (from the viewer's perspective) is a camera on a tripod - cameras with trip wires have been set in the park in an effort to document this very shy animal. To the right of the picture, there is a lighter patch - this area was intended for the text in the finished book. Above this lighter patch is a branch of a wild orange tree in bloom. In this case the entire picture was not used - a circular section from the left hand side of the picture was used on page 19. Inscription lower centre verso "Lucy Everitt 2003". Publication note : This material has been reproduced in the following publications:
This image was originally intended for publication as a double-page spread on pages 18 and 19 of "Wombat down below!", however only a circular section from the left of the image was used on page 19.

Epping Forest national Park at night (2003)
Watercolour depicting Epping Forest National Park at night. To the left of the picture, Big Foot, a Northern Hairy-nosed wombat, is digging a new burrow in the shelter of a gidgee tree branch. The flying dirt and sand being scooped up by his forelegs is depicted by spattered paint in various shades of brown through the centre and to the right of the picture. Around the burrow are some grasses and other low growing plants. Toward the right of the picture, a barn owl is pictured flying with a small mouse it has just caught in its talons. The owl has a green tag on its leg, a remnant of a scientific tagging program. In the bottom right of the picture is a small flowering plant, which shelters a pink Steindachner's Gecko. Inscription lower left verso "Lucy Everitt 2003".

Map of Australia with state borders
Watercolour showing a map of Australia with the borders of the states and territories marked. A small Northern Hairy-nosed wombat is shown walking across the border between Queensland and South Australia. A red dot in Queensland indicates the location of Epping Forest National Park, and a nearby brown dot indicates the location of Clermont, the nearest town.
The map is surrounded by a coloured background - below the map is an area of green with a swirling pattern, to indicate the oceans. Above that, rising to the area just above the Queensland border, is an area of angles lines depicting mountains, rendered in blue. Above that are some wavy lines, gradually moving to straight and then dotted lines, with the blue darkening gradually toward the top of the picture, where it is black, depicting the sky. To the left of the map of Australia in the sky area is shown a sun, with a face, and to the right is a crescent moon, also with a face. Inscription lower left verso "Lucy Everitt 2003".

One pen and ink drawing by Lucy Everitt which appeared in the book "Wombat Down Below!"
The drawing showing the dingo proof fence erected around Epping Forest National Park in 2003 in an attempt to keep dingoes out of the Northern Hairy-nosed wombats' habitat. The viewer is looking at the fence from inside the park. A dingo is shown outside the fence at far left, and just to the right of the dingo but inside the fence is a quad bike. An Eastern grey kangaroo is shown slightly further to the right and outside the fence, and another Eastern grey is pictured inside the fence on the right of the picture.
