Hornibrook Group Collection

Collection comprises 8 reels of film, black and white photographs, negatives and clippings relating to the construction work of Hornibrook Group. The material depicts various Hornibrook sites and staff members in Queensland and New South Wales. Some of the photographs are accompanied by related clippings. The collection also includes photographs of members of the Proschogo family. The photographs include locations such as Port of Gladstone, Bulwer Island at Pinkenba, Lucinda Point, Ross River Bridge and Papua New Guinea. The films include footage filmed at various locations in Brisbane including Tennyson and the Hornibrook works at Bulimba, as well as Townsville Power Station, NACL Cement Works at Stuart and construction of the Ross River Bridge.
