Abstract
A collection of drawings and paintings (works on paper) made by children in Australia, Vietnam and China between 1986 and 2016. A separate series was added following the COVID-19 Pandemic of 2020, featuring art works and stories from children from Wuhan in China and 4 Brisbane kindergartens and primary schools created during June and July 2020.
Scope and content

In 2023, this collection was added to UNESCO's Memory of the World Australian Register.

Administrative / Biographical history

Barbara Piscitelli is an independent consultant and researcher in education and the arts. In 1986, she established an archive of children's art and has created several exhibitions and catalogues from her collection; she donated the collection to the State Library of Queensland in 2004.
