Scope and content
Recordings from two oral history projects with residents past and present of Croydon. 'Croydon Lives' is a collection of oral histories with people who lived or who are descendants of people who lived in Croydon during and after the gold strike of 1885 to 1914. 'Never Was a Ghost Town' is a collection of oral histories from people born and raised in the Croydon area. The collection also includes a report on the Cairns Timber Mill at Yungaburra.
