Abstract
Interviews conducted by Dr Rob Edwards with various individuals involved in festivals held in Gympie.
Scope and content
Collection consists of a recorded interview and transcript for each interviewee. The interviewees are: Lisa Jocumsen, Betty Cockburn, Kellie Stewart, Brian Sansom, Graham Engeman, Rae Gate, Billy and Shirley Bishop, Arthur Doust, Anne Long and Joy Currie. Interviewees discuss the social development of Gympie and talk particularly about the various festivals held there - including the Gympie Show, Pioneers' Morning Tea, Gympie Country Music Muster, Chelsea Flower Show and Gympie Goldrush Festival.
