Three interviews regarding the history of Daisy Hill State Forest and housing commission flats in Holland Park.
Scope and content
Interview with Florence Ellen Hampson. Includes one cassette tape and one interview log. Mrs Florence Hampson's grandfather settled in Daisy Hill State Forest. She speaks about the history of the forest including memories of native plants and trees, logging, early stories about the forest, and forest rangers. The interviewer is Rosemary Wright. Interview with Charles Glen Shailer. Includes two cassette tapes and 'Daisy Hill Forest Information'. Mr Charles Shailer's great grandfather arrived in 1866 and his family have lived in the area ever since. He speaks of the animals in the forest, early forest use, and Aboriginal occupation before and after World War 2. The interviewer is Lesley Jenkins.
