Abstract
Oral history interviews regarding the history of the Cape York Peninsula.
Scope and content
179 oral history interviews regarding the history of the Cape York Peninsula by interviewer Duncan Jackson. Interviews indicate information about residents, social life and activities, local businesses, pioneers, wild life, towns in the the region and some Indigenous content. The oral history interviews are held on 35 master reel-to-reel tapes and made available on 95 derivative cassette tapes. Transcripts are available from 76 interviews.
