A collection of interviews regarding the Queensland Cruising Yacht Club and the Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race. Topics covered in the interviews include: pre-history and foundation of the Queensland Cruising Yacht Club, the first race, first Brisbane - Gladstone race, carrier pigeons, Ray Barrett's 4KQ radio broadcasts, reception at Gladstone, 48 years of ocean racing stories, Jack Dooklund wrecked on Lady Elliott Island, how the club house was built, and how the marina at Cabbage Tree Creek was developed. John Cuneo talks about competing in sailing at the 1968 Olympics and winning gold at the 1972 Olympics. These interviews were recorded during the Queensland Cruising Yacht Club's Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race 50 year reunion.
