Items pertaining mainly to the careers of Sir Edward Henry Macartney (MLA) and his nephew Lieutenant Colonel George William Cardew Macartney, D.S.O., M.B. It includes material relating to Doctor George W.C. Macartney's service as Medical Officer with during the First World War.

Items pertaining mainly to the careers of Edward H. Macartney (MLA) and George Wm. Cardew Macartney. Envelope 1 contains: menu from complimentary banquet of E.H. Macartney; fire insurance policy with L'Union Fire Insurance Co. Ltd; autographed card, the 14th Australian Field Ambulance France; Australian Military Forces, certificates of stocktaking, and handing and taking over certificate. Envelope 2 contains: a scrap album; a letter written by Horton Percy Moore to Miss MacGregor from Jericho 1918; miscellaneous items and correspondence, and newsclippings mainly relating to E.H. Macartney becoming the new Agent General of Queensland.
