Scope and content
A diary recording Gilbert Holcomb's passage to the Middle East as a member of the First AIF, and his subsequent duties as a stretcher bearer with the 2nd Light Horse Field Ambulance, including service in the Dardanelles during the First World War. Also included are four postcards, two printed pamphlets and a letter addressed to Holcomb.
