Notebook titled 'Patrick' - with an explanatory page written either by his mother Jane or father William Leslie: "My son Patrick left Aberdeen for New South Wales on Saturday 25th October 1834 – arrived per Queen of Scotland steamer in London on Tuesday 28th and sailed from Gravesend, on board the Emma Eugenia, Captain Millbank, on the 31st Decr. In this book are put down the dates of writing & receiving letters from him after that period, & also the dates of the letters addressed to him by his family after he left England.
