This collection comprises: station diaries (1884; 1904-1978); letterbooks (1874-1917); account ledgers from Umbercollie Station (1872-1883) and an account ledger from Camboon Station (1874-1876); a ledger from Wallabella Station (1902-1904); station ledgers (1903-1967); notebooks and correspondence.

Administrative / Biographical history
After the death of his father and in the wake of the 1902 drought, Francis Marsh Bell (1883-1961) took over management of the station assisted by Murray Jardine and Walter Winthrop. At its height Camboon ran 20,000 head of cattle, at first Shorthorn then Herefords which were more suited to the climate. Camboon was also known for its Clydesdale draught horses.
