Corinda Station records

This series consists of account ledgers kept at Corinda Station, Aramac as a daily record of various account types, including sundries, wages, cash, stores, repairs.

Items 1-46

This series consists of station diaries and work diaries which record work performed on Corinda Station, employees' names and work performed. Weather conditions are also briefly recorded.

Items 66-71: Station manager's diaries from 1945, 1957-1965

This series contains ledgers and inventories recording daily records of receipts and expenditures by employees for provisions, and for general provisions and goods. They also record the date, name of employee, type of provision (e.g. tobacco, matches, soap, lino polish, wash soda, envelopes etc.) and amount spent, at Corinda and Uanda Stations.

This series contains financial reports to Head Offices Brisbane and Melbourne, records of sale of sheep skins and produce and bank account balance sheets, as well as weekly reports  regarding condition of stock, sale of stock, rainfall, water, pasturage, lambing, shearing as well as plant and insect pests.

Also included is a report on Artesian well construction, progress and returns.

This series of ephemera relating to Corinda Station includes: Graziers' Association papers -- trade catalogues -- technical drawings and instructions for use of Metters heating stove, Perkins 5 1/2 hp engine, Victoria oil engine, Comet petrol engine, Marino spray plant and Toowoomba Foundry tanks -- Sketch of earmarks and ages of 100 rams purchased from Tara Station.

This series contains architectural drawings for renovations of shearers accommodation, shearing sheds and other outbuildings at Corinda Station. Also included are the contracts with the successful tenders; also included are building and house plans for Corinda Head Station, Corinda Woolshed and Uanda Head Station; and sketch plans of boundaries for Marion No.2 & 3 runs, Borderland East and West and Carmichael H. holding, Corinda Station.

This series contains material relating to the insurance and valuation of the properties associated with Corinda and Fleetwood Stations. The items include insurance inventories for the 27 buildings at Corinda Station, detailing the type of building, floor area, rooms contained in the buildings; with schedules of insurance for the Station; as well as an insurance policy for the stallion "Elm Punch".
