Series 1: Correspondence (1914-1915)
This series consists chiefly of letters and postcards written by brothers Thomas 'Tom' and Albert 'Bert' Beech as they embark overseas for service during the First World War. Both ambulance bearers prior to enlisting, during this time Bert served in Egypt and Gallipoli, with the 3rd Field Ambulance Brigade, while Tom remained with the 4th Light Horse Field Ambulance, in the Middle East.

This single item series consists of a typed transcript of the diary kept by William Edmund Beech jnr, 4th Pioneer Battalion. William wrote an account of his voyage to Australia from England at the end of the war aboard SS Swakopmund.

Series 4: Postcards (1915-1916)
This series consists of postcards sent to family members from Thomas Beech, while serving oveseas during the First World War.
They include:
Three photographic postcards of the camp and members of 4th Light Horse Field Ambulance, in Egypt.

- 2. Photograph of Light Horse camps in the desert, taken by Jim [James] Scott, 4th Light Horse Field Ambulance.

This series consists of miscellaneus papers relating to the Beech Family of Somerset Farm, Baking Board, Queensland, which include invitations, Queensland Sunday School Union papers, and transcripts and notes regarding the donation.
