Series 2: Family papers, prose (1890-1930)
This series contains song lyrics, handwritten copies of poems and other miscellaneous items, relating to the Joyce family, 1890s-1930s. Most of these have been copied by Edgar 'Burgho' Joyce of The Overflow Station, Beaudesert and include many references to Banjo Paterson. Edgar, well-known for his horsemanship, was called “Clancy of The Overflow”, by his friends.

This series contains accounts ledgers relating to The Overflow Station; together with sketches and specifications for a stock yard at Bunjoey Station.
Of note: the ledgers record the names and activities of employees who worked at the station, some of who are known to be of Aboriginal heritage; they include: Lucy Coolwell, Gourie, Johnnie and Dick.

Reports on Carpentaria Downs, Forest Home and Magoura Stations written by Edgar Joyce for the Queensland Meat Export & Agency Company, 1908. Edgar Joyce was born at Mervue, Galway, Ireland on 26 September 1867 and died at The Overflow on 3 September 1938.

This series contains transcripts and notebook of speeches and addresses principally given by Janice Joyce OAM at various events. Addresses often relate to the plight of women in the grazing industry, and the effects of drought.
