Jacket (1935)
A khaki coloured flying jacket with the label of Pike Brothers, Brisbane worn by pioneering Queensland aviatrix Ivy Pearce in the Brisbane to Adelaide Air Race, 1936. The belted jacket was worn with a matching divided skirt.
The youngest of five female entrants, Ivy competed alongside Nancy Bird (1915-2009), Freda Thompson (1909-1980), May Bradford (1897-1937) and Lorres Bonney (1897-1994) who were all commercial pilots.
Ivy who flew a Monospar twin-engine aircraft, recorded the fastest time of any of the female pilots, and just two seconds behind the eventual winner; she beat Reg Ansett, founder of Ansett Airlines. Her navigator for the race was Ernest Hassard, who later became her husband in 1937.

Textile trim (1971)
Two pieces of decorative textile trim from a dress designed by Ivy Hassard in 1971 and worn by her daughter Laureen to the Concours D'Elegance held at the Chevron Hotel, on the Gold Coast in 1972.
The dress which featured 5 ruffled tiers, also featured hand woven textile (swiss embroidery) adorned with gold rings which was incorporated into the dress. The outfit also included a necklet featuring the same gold rings.

The clippings cover events including Ivy Hassard's flying and fashion career, Laurene Hassard modeling designs by Ivy Hassard, and fashion events they attended.
Memorabilia includes a program for the 10th Annual Concours d'Elegance event, held 7 November 1975 at the Chevron Parardise Hotel, on the Gold Coast.

- Several images of Laurene Hassard (Ivy's daughter) modelling her designs including: the white and gold-ring dress and red chiffon catsuit featuring hand beading and ostrich feathers, which was awared the Supreme Award for fashion elegence at the Concours d'Elegance in 1971.
