Collection includes:
- Ten colour slides of Brisbane, mostly city buildings.
- Eleven colour photographs of the Warana parade taken at the corner of Queen Street and North Quay.
- Four 'medallion' portraits.
- One hundred and twenty five photographs in a variety of sizes, mostly black and white, the majority are portraits.
- Box 10277 contains two albums of photographs, the majority portraits. Some of the photographers include- G H Woodelton, Bevan of Edward Street, W Deazeley, Morrison & Clinton, Dorothy Coleman, Mathewson & Co., Poul C Poulsen, Wiley Studio, Lomer, Hutchinson & Co and Chargois & Banger (Normanton) and Tosca of Brisbane.
- Leather bound albums with metal clasps of family portraits, one presented to "Katie" for her birthday on December 6, 1886, by Mrs H.Barltrop, has many images missing. "Katie" is Katie King Sewell (maiden name Winstone).
- Box 16924 O/S: Opaltype portrait of Henry Sewell, born Brampton, Kent in 1852, and came to Australia on the 'Gauntlet', arriving in 1876. He was employed as an Engineer with the Brisbane Municipal Council, married Bertha Magdalena Bestmann. Following Bertha's death he married Katie King (nee Winston). He is buried at Toowong Cemetery.
- Box 10276 includes a studio portrait of Charles Philip Maitland, son of Elizabeth Sewell; wedding photograph of Charles Philip Maitland and his bride Millicent "Millie" Maitland, nee Schubert.

- Unsigned hand written will of Henry Sewell dated 1928;
- Letter written by Katie King Sewell, wife of Henry Sewell, to solicitors Holdsworth & Payne in London concerning the estate of Winstone v Winstone. Sewell gives the solicitors full authority to act on her behalf and prove her claim;
- Notes written by Henry Sewell regarding his parents and his wife Katie King Sewell; and
- Notes written about Katie King Sewell (possibly by herself) apparently for a newspaper article.
