A letter sent by Conrad Kelsall to his sister, Lilian Beatrice Kelsall (1879-1944) of Youngaton (the first two pages of the letter are missing). Conrad writes at length about collecting butterflies, describing his joy at receiving new consignments.
Included in this letter to Lilian is 'a sample butterfly' as prepared by dealer Alfred Bernie Bell; Danis serapis, collected at Little Mulgrave River "a scrub butterfly, fairly common, but confined to N. Q."
