This series contains 11 scrapbooks that mainly document the musical accomplishments of Robert Boughen, Christina Boughen (his wife, nee Whyte) and Margaret Whyte (Christina Boughen's sister). They also document activities of other singers and musicians in Brisbane, as well as some dancers.
The scrapbooks document Robert Boughen's activities primarily as an organist, conductor and teacher, Christina Boughen primarily as a pianist and Margaret Whyte primarily as a singer.

The scrapbook contains mainly newspaper clippings and programs documenting various performers and their performances in Brisbane between 1900 and 1921.
This includes details on various singers, musicians, conductors, choirs, orchestras and other musical groups including the: Westminster Glee Singers; Bell Chrome Company; Fisk Jubilee Singers; singers Marie Narelle, Antonia Dolores, Andrew Black, Gilbert Wilson, Adelina Patti, Clara Butt and Kennerley Rumford; Brisbane Musical Union; flutist John Lemmone; organist Edwin H. Lemare; and the Scarlet Troubadours. Also included are details of J.C. Williamson performances and performances in John N. McCallum's 'Town topics' series.
Performances were held at a variety of locations including Her Majesty's Theatre, Exhibition Concert Hall, Centennial Hall, Albert Hall and the Cremorne Theatre as well as a number of venues in Taringa.

The photograph album contains well wishes and photographs of an informal 'cuppa' after Evening Song at St. John's Cathedral on 16 July 1995. The 'cuppa' involved a presentation to Robert Boughen in celebration of him being awarded the Lambeth Doctorate of Church Music.
Robert Boughen was awarded the Lambeth Doctorate of Church Music in 1995. Robert travelled to the U.K.to receive the award conferred by the Archbishop of Canterbury. Robert Boughen was Organist and Master of Choristers of St. John's Cathedral from 1960 until his retirement in 2004.
The scrapbook was probably compiled by a serving member of St. John's Cathedral.

'God has perfect pitch' was first broadcast on the A.B.C. as 'Encounter' on 28 August 1988. It is a feature which explores the music and liturgy of St. Paul's Cathedral, Melbourne, through the eyes and ears of three musicians. The musicians were:

This item contains a video recording of the memorial concert for Robert and Christina Boughen, held at St. Stephen's Cathedral, Brisbane, on 20 April 2024, following the passing of both Robert and Christina Boughen. The video was recorded by David Pawsey, founder of Queensland Live Streaming and audio was recorded by Jai Farrell.
The concert featured speeches about Robert and Christina Boughen from their family and by Margaret Throsby AM (MC). The music was performed by students and colleagues of Robert and Christina carefully selected by the family and former student Dr Graeme Morton, now director of music at St. John's Anglican Cathedral. The music was representative of the lives and loves of Christina and Robert Boughen. This included a performance by distinguished jazz pianist Michael Faragher, a former pupil of Robert Boughen's.
