- Cards and letters of congratulation on her engagement to James Fearnley
- Telegrams of congratulations, on the occasion of their wedding
- Loose informal portraits and photographs of their wedding
Also included is Cecily's wedding gown, said to have been made from fabric purchased with ration coupons.

This item consists of loose newspaper clippings and a scrapbook kept by Cecily Sandercock during the Second World War. The scrapbook includes many newspaper illustrations of servicemen and women, in all theatres of war - in the Middle East, Europe and on the homefront. Also included are several ephemeral items, including a leave pass for her brother Kenneth Sandercock, 1940 as well as movie advertisements of the day.

Cecily Sandercock's wedding gown, made of fabric bought from Myer with ration cards. The gown is made of embossed satin with a full box-pleated skirt, and a long train, it has a square neckline embroidered with seed pearls in a waratah design. Her wedding ring was made from portions of her mother's wedding ring and Jim's mother's wedding ring.

Series 4: Papers, Anne Phillips (7 April 1942)
This single item series consists of a certificate of appointment as Lieutenant in the Australian Armed Forces, issued to Anne Gilmour Phillips during the Second World War. With the original cardboard postal roll.
In 1939 Anne Phillips age 53, a trained masseuse (physiotherapist) joined the Australian Army Nursing Service (AANS) having mis-stated her age when enlisting. She served with the 2/6th Australian General Hospital in the Middle East, and Greece from 1940-1941 then at Rocky Creek, Atherton in north Queensland.

Series 5: Papers, James Fearnley (1947-2001)
This series contains letters written by James 'Jim' Fearnley to Cecily Sandercock prior to their marriage in 1953. Also included are letters received and written by the Fearnley family in relation to the service of James Fearnley, QX6021 in the Second World War.
James Fearnley was born in Kent, England and emigrated to Australia with his parents in 1922, where his father established a farm in Brookfield, named 'Happy Valley'. James enlisted in 1939 and departed for England in May 1940 with the 1st Anti Tank Regiment, serving in the Middle East from November 1940 and in Greece until May 1941 when he was wounded in action and taken prisoner at Sofia, one of the Greece islands.
Interned in Germany for the remainder of the war until he was recovered in May 1945, James was returned to Australia in August 1945 suffering from psychosis and discharged from the Army in November.

This series consists of letters and greeting cards written by Josephine Fearnley to her sister-in-law Cecily and brother Jim Fearnley.
'Jo' who was born in England in 1919 migrated to Australia with her family age 2, to live at Upper Brookfield until the 1950s when she returned to England and trained as a nurse. From the early 1960s to 1980 she was a night sister in the maternity wing of the Armidale and New England Hospital in NSW. Included is an obituary published in the newspaper of the day, and her British passport.

Radon self-mix hosiery compound. Australian Stockings powder. This item is a sample of hosiery or stockings, utilized by Cecily Sandercock during the Second World War.
During the Second World War, nylon was used extensively for parachutes and other war materials, such as airplane cords and ropes and the supply of nylon for consumer goods was rationed, leaving women seeking ways to improvise. This liquid foundation was applied to the legs, often with a seem drawn up the back to complete the illusion.

Maps relating to the work undertaken by Cecily Sandercock with the US Army Services of Supply (USASOS) where she was employed in the Drafting Office; the Graves Registration Unit and Intelligence Section of the Special Planning Unit, Mapping Department for the Allied Forces.
The maps include extracts of larger items which record the location of war graves and cemeteries, and strategic roads and bridges, in New Guinea, Indonesia, The Phillipines and Malaya.
Also included is an aerial photograph of Balikpapan taken 16 August 1943 recording known installations, such as refineries, wharves and fuel storage. On the reverse is a caricature most likely of Cecily Sandercock dressed as a Geisha.
