Abstract
Materials relating to the lives of two families - Sandercock and Fearnley - who were brought together when Cecily Sandercock married James (Jim) Fearnley in 1953.
Scope and content
This collection contains papers, photographs, ephemera, manuscripts, and correspondence relating to Cecil Sandercock, his wife Lydia, and their children Cecily and Kenneth. It primarily contains Cecily's correspondence, photographs, papers and ephemera from the Second World War in Brisbane. It also includes Cecily's wedding dress, made from fabric purchased in the Myer building in Queen Street using clothing rations post-war.
