This item - an album of postcards, consists of blank postcards collected from various parts of Queensland and northern New South Wales, as souvenirs of travel, as well as postcards sent to various members of the Shelley family from both Australia and overseas. Both colour and black-and-white, many are undated. Also includes 5 'souvenir folders': of Burleigh Heads, Coolangatta, Springbrook, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, and various towns on the Gold Coast.

These items [26 - 28] are commemorative 'In Memoriam' booklets for Roland Shelley, Marjorie Shelley and Melva Shelley.

These items [29 - 32] all relate to John Atkins Shelley (1873-1958). They include:

• Certificate of Discharge, issued to John Atkins Shelley on his leaving the military in 1906. Also includes a certificate of character, and a physical description.
• Certificate of Competency as a third class engine driver, issued to John Atkins Shelley in June, 1912.
• Interim certificate issued to John Atkins Shelley, allowing him to hold the position of second class engine driver until the next examination date.
• Certificate of Competency as a second class engine driver, issued to John Atkins Shelley in November, 1912.

Permit issued to John Atkins Shelley in 1944, allowing him to be employed on certain marine vessels in the Moreton Bay and Brisbane River area. Issued on 16 November, 1943 with an expiry date of 30 June, 1944.

Fire insurance policy issued by the Australian Alliance Assurance Company, Brisbane, for the Shelley family house at Keats St, Moorooka.

3 page contract specifying details of a well to be sunk on the Adult Deaf and Dumb Farm at Ekibin, by John Atkins Shelley.

• Invitations from the Clinton Vale Parents and Citizens association, sent to Marjorie and Melva Shelley, to be present at the Jubilee celebrations of the school in 1957.
• Invitations to Jean and Melba [Melva] Shelley to be present at the marriage of Margaret June Wood to Desmond Albert Pritchard on 27 December, 1958.
• Invitation sent to Marjorie, Melva and Jean Shelley to be present at the installation of their neice, Robyn Shelley, as the Queen of the Graceville chapter of the International Order of Jobs Daughters.
• Invitation to 'Aunty Jean' (Jean Shelley) to the 40th wedding anniversary party of 'Gwynneth and Robert' [Mole].

Also 2 articles mentioning Oliver Shelley and his work in the aircraft industry, and one article about the church to which some of the Shelleys belonged. Some undated.

Examples of needlework done by one or more of the Shelley sisters (Jean, Melva or Marjorie). Includes dolls-clothes, a practice sampler of various fancy stitches (including drawn-thread work and buttonholes), a hand-made sewing case with decorative embroidery, and hand-made needle cases, including one decorated with scraps.

Family tree showing the descendents of Mr and Mrs J A Shelley, including their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. The tree comprises 2 pages, a third page lists the birth and death dates of Mr and Mrs J A Shelley and their children, and also has a photocopy of a 1920 photograph of the family with names.
