Scope and content
This significant collection includes original diaries, notebooks, and correspondence covering the period 1856-1908, as well as newspaper cuttings, maps and miscellaneous documents, relating principally to the life of William Landsborough in northern Queensland. Also of note is an Aboriginal word list, possibly from the Caloundra area recorded in one of his notebooks from 1877.
