Papers of Henry George Lamond
Scope and content
The bulk of the collection consists of literary manuscripts of Henry Lamond's short stories and articles which date from 1927. There are also some manuscripts of the long stories; radio talk scripts; and correspondence, mostly between Henry Lamond and his sons, 1941-1947; papers relating to his financial affairs; book reviews; and publications.

Henry George Lamond worked on and managed various stations in Queensland before taking up writing. He has written numerous short stories, articles and books and was awarded the MBE for his contribution to Australian literature.
