Diary kept by Reverend George Green at Gallipoli. The diary includes a harrowing description of the Australian attack on the Turkish position known as the "Chequerboard" on 7 August 1915 in which there were heavy casualties.
The diary includes three loose photographs: Turkish Field Battery, Turkish staff at Sherea, and General Allenby entering Jerusalem via Jaffa gate. Also included is notepaper from Gilgal Hotel, Jericho and a listing of ammunition.
