Letter dated 7 May 1873 from John Malbon Thompson, (1830-1908) in regards to a petition about Aboriginal reserves.
Letter dated 24 December 1873 from William Leworthy Goode Drew (1826-1898), Undersecretary of The Treasury, Brisbane in regards to the gathering of information on the 'Aboriginal question'.
Three letters dated: 21 May, 17 July and 1 August 1873 from merchant John R Gosling, Brisbane to [George Francis] Bridgman (1842-1923) on varioius matters including obtaining immigrant labourers, including those from the Pacific Islands, to work on his sugar plantation.
Letter dated 23 September 1873 from [James Chapman?] of Creek Street, Brisbane to Mr Bridgman.
