  1. Article titled ‘Mounted thief astonished city’ (shocking daylight robbery)  It is a reprinted article (reprinted possibly in the 1980s) originally from 1902 and probably from the Brisbane Courier.
  2. Two pages photocopied from the Brisbane Courier, Saturday November 9, 1929 (page 5ff) showing the Breakfast Creek Hotel for sale by tender (purchase of the lease-license-goodwill and furniture) – it will close Saturday Nov. 16.  Lease expires June 20, 1937.  Full particulars can be obtained from Cavills Limited, Prince Consort Hotel, Brisbane.
  3. Laminated photocopy of newspaper article with handwritten date September 1931.  It is from the ‘Toowoomba Chronicle and Darling Downs Gazette’, Wednesday 31 December 1930, page 9.
  4. Laminated advertisement from newspaper advertising the Breakfast Creek Hotel’s ‘Mexican Garden’ as a new treat for lunch time gourmets.  It is from the Brisbane Telegraph, Saturday 24 February 1968, page 7.

Two printed Tariffs cards for the current tariff rates of this hotel, Breakfast Creek Hotel, G. Cavill proprietor.  One has the rates in pounds and is typed and has in red ink through the middle the following note ‘Fire extinguishers are placed at the head of the main stairway and at rear verandah – outside kitchen.  Fire exits are at both ends of the main hallway’. It also gives the times for breakfast, luncheon and dinner.  The second one is also for the same hotel and proprietor but has the details are handwritten in ink and the prices are in dollars.  No specific notes are included and the price is for ‘bed and breakfast’ only.
